Meet Southern Water Blasting's owner: Jeff Bartlett
Jeff Bartlett, the owner of Southern Water Blasting, has a diverse background that reflects his adventurous spirit and dedication to hard work. After graduating from Otago Boys High School, Jeff embarked on a journey that took him from Stewart Island, where he honed his skills as a commercial cray fisherman, to the rugged landscapes of Tasmania, where he spent eight years fishing and salmon farming. With the birth of his first child, Jeff returned to his roots in Otago, where he continued his maritime career as a skipper on cray boats. Driven by a desire for new challenges, Jeff transitioned to land-based work, welding poly pipe for various commercial businesses including mining, water reticulation, irrigation, and coal processing plants. It was during this time that Jeff took the opportunity to purchase a small drain cleaning waterblaster to service a local gold mine, and this marked the beginning of his 14-year journey in the industry.
Under Jeff's leadership, Southern Water Blasting has grown into a thriving business, with a skilled team dedicated to providing expert cleaning and paint stripping services across a wide range of industries.
